ICTs in sports ICTs are extremely important in sports for many reasons it is helpful for referees making their decisions better and making the game fair. Some examples of ICTs in sports are: Video cameras: Video cameras provide information that can not be seen to the human eye or it is a very hard call to make for the referee one of this can be either the VAR for soccer or “hawk eye” for tennis Digital TV: Sports can be transmitted live via TV with high quality and some times are used to see the goal line and decide wether it’s a goal or not. Phones: Phones can be used to receive a live game content, replays, and for a game review after the match. Sport watches: This are used for heart rate monitoring and keeping you fit. Internet: We can use the internet for many things in sports but one of them can be for the weather conditions and decide of the game can procede or not.
